The Company

Founded in 2019 by Anna Nussbaum, Miyana is an exclusive label offering women's shoes in sizes 37-45. Our mission is to create a trendy and yet timeless range of fashion for all women by designing feminine shoes up to size 45. In doing so - true to our motto “Feminine Beyond Sizes” - we want to move away from the unhealthy and outdated beauty ideal of small feet and ensure that all women are able to develop their style regardless of shoe sizes to feel feminine and self-confident.

Thereby, we maintain high standards - both in design and quality. All shoes are designed in Berlin and made with love in Italy.

The Idea

The idea of ​​founding Miyana Berlin is based on my own experience. As long as I can remember, I've tried to find feminine and fashionable shoes in my size 42/43. I remember a lot of demotivating visits to plus size shoe stores during my youth ... In the past few years, more shoe suppliers have joined, but it is still a challenge to find feminine shoes in my size. Shoes that are reasonably priced and convince with good quality.

I quickly realized that I am not the only woman with this particular problem. Many women suffer from not having the right shoes for every occasion. They therefore force themselves into too small, unhealthy shoes or buy ones that do not suit their individual style.

After my studies, I researched intensively on the shoe industry and learned a lot about how to make production sustainable and fair. It quickly became clear that it is quite possible to design and produce beautiful and especially feminine shoes in larger sizes - the idea never let me go and so I founded Miyana in 2019.

After we've designed the first two collections in sizes 41-44, since fall 2021 we are happy to include - with our three new designs: Ivy, Ava & Liv - also customers with shoe sizes 37-45.
